VIP Modular Wheels began product development and testing in 2005, with the sole idea of individualization and performance for world-class vehicles. Custom build-to-order, ultra high quality forged modular wheels with absolutely zero compromise is their pursuit. Each wheel starts life as a 6061 billet aluminum disc which has been heat treated to T6 temperature refining structural grain direction along with the wheels spokes. From there each center disc profile is placed on a lathe and Computer Numerical Control mills where each design is transferred from 3D CAD engineered drawing to the exact wheel ordered by their discerning customers. The center discs are then prepped and finishes are applied in state-of-the-art downdraft paint booths and then cured for durability.
After finishing, the US patented rim halves also manufactured out of aerospace grade 6061-T6 aluminum are assembled together with the center disc using military-spec stainless fasteners and hand assembled assuring precise results every time. Each wheel is tested for proper run-out and meticulously inspected before being delivered. All wheels exceed SAE-J2530 fatigue/rolling resistance and CASS corrosion testing standards.
